Energy Anyone?

The price of oil has been dropping for a couple of weeks and gasoline prices are crawing down with it. For now anyway. Personally, I think it's just a natural correction. It will go back up. So please don't go out and get that 20 gpm SUV yet. We're still lining the pockets of those that want to destroy us. That would be the Islamic countries. We are their slaves whether you realize it or not. Until we get our energy from somewhere else, we will continue to be their slaves.

Natural Gas.

Ethanol.

Biodiesel.

Solar.

Wind.

Wave or Ocean.

Geothermal.

Compressed air.

Hydrogen.

Clean coal.

There are many alternatives, but they all cost more than oil at the moment. There are many companies that are investing in research to brings the cost of these alternatives down, but until they get the costs down, we will continue to rely on oil, most of which is imported.

We could drill our own oil fields, but there are those (aka Liberal Democrats) who say it's not a viable option. They say it will take 5-10 years to see any difference if we start drilling our own oil fields. Well, what happens in 5-10 years? Instead of seeing the difference then, we will be hearing, once again, how it will take 5-10 years to see the results. Well, if we acted on it 5-10 years prior, we would be having that conversation.

Then again, this just accelerates the need for alternative fuels.

The sooner the better, we need to break these chains.
